Each state and county has documents specific for the area you are purchasing or leasing. Also communities have very detailed convenance and by-laws. Its important to to collect all these documents and have an attorney or your sellers agents answer any and all questions you might have.

New buyers are encouraged to ask for community legal documents in advance of your closing date. This will help you appreciate the place that is to become your home. You can find the documents on the “Communities” page of this website by entering the name of the community where you live or where you will soon call home. Oftentimes, buyers are overwhelmed with paperwork on the day of the closing and this gets lost in the shuffle. We are here to help you understand your new community and how a community association will increase your standard of living.
